Golden State's dynamic duo backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay
Thompson head the list of players who will participate in this
year's 3-point contest during next month's All-Star Weekend.
Yahoo! Sports also reported that Los Angeles Clippers guard J.J.
Redick, Atlanta Hawks guard Kyle Korver and Portland Trail Blazer
guard Wesley Matthews also will participate.

Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Jennings underwent surgery in New York
on a ruptured left Achilles tendon.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker unveiled a plan that would help fund a
new arena for the Milwaukee Bucks. Nearly $220 million of the
projected $500 million needed for the downtown Milwaukee facility
would be funded by projected growth in income taxes from NBA
players.

The Bucks' new owners have pledged about $150 million toward the
costs of the new arena. Former Bucks owner Herb Kohl has promised
$100 million of his own money toward the project.

The Cavaliers assigned guard Joe Harris to the Canton Charge, the
Cavaliers NBA Development League team.
Harris has played in 35 games (one start) for the Cavs this season,
