Auto Repair marks 30 years today

LINCOLN - Today , January 28th, marks
the 30th Anniversary for the owners
of Charron's Auto Repair. Rick and Carol Charron purchased the family
business from Rick's father Arnold on January 28th, 1985. At that time
the business was known as
Logan County Radiator. The Charron's
soon after renamed the business.

In May of 1972, Ricks father, Arnold Charron opened Logan County
Radiator in Lincoln.
Son Rick worked several years for his dad while attending high
school. After graduation, Rick proceeded with his career as an
automotive technician also working in area repair shops and
dealerships. On Jan. 28, 1985, Rick and Carol purchased the family
business and later changed the name to Charron’s Auto Repair, Inc.
Charron’s currently have a six bay shop and four lifts. They offer
high tech diagnostic equipment as well as the newest modern
technology to help repair the ever changing systems of today’s
vehicles.
The Charrons team includes Rick & Carol, Service Writer: Pat, Office
Assistant: Erica and Technicians: Brandon & James. Our technicians
are ASE certified. ASE certified professionals are important to the
repair industry.
In, 1997 Charron’s Auto Repair was asked to join Napa Auto Care.
Napa Auto Care is an organization of accredited shops that have met
qualifications such as community reputations, integrity, and
expertise in the automotive field.
The shop is pleased to offer products from high quality, well known
auto part vendors such as Napa, Jasper Engines and Transmissions,
Interstate Batteries, O’Reilly Auto Parts.

Charron’s Auto Repair is proud to help sponsor local events for the
community such as, participating in the Lincoln Christmas Parade,
Lincoln Balloon Festival Activities, Relay for Life, Spring YMCA
Youth Soccer programs, Women’s Summer Softball Team, The Lincoln
Park District Halloween Funfest, Intrepid Fallen Hero Program, Car
Care month, Recycling of used oil and Battery pick up programs.
The Charron’s are grateful for their years in Lincoln and extend the
following sentiment: “We would like to thank all of our customers
over the last 30 years that have helped make our business what it is
today.”
