The Chester East Lincoln Panthers came out on top over West
Lincoln-Broadwell Wolverines 41-35 in a continually close
battle.
For the Panthers, Will Ewald lead all scorers with 22 points
including six-for-six from the free throw line all in the fourth
quarter. Noah Fink had 10 points, Jaden Pollice had seven points
and Isaac Dewberry scored two points for the Panthers.
The Wolverines were led by Kaden Froebe with 12 points. Justin
Long had nine points, six points for Dreyden Pozsgai, Joe
Dalpoas and Kameron Whiteman scored three points each and Payton
Anderson went for two.
West Lincoln-Broadwell wraps up its season with a 17-3 record.
Chester-East Lincoln stands at 17-2 and will advance to
sectional play in Decatur on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m.
