Hamilton had been on the disabled list for four weeks after
suffering a hamstring injury. The Rangers sent young slugger Joey
Gallo to Triple-A to make room for Hamilton on the roster.
After rejoining the Rangers earlier this year in a trade with the
Los Angeles Angels and recovering from shoulder surgery injury and
drug and alcohol relapses, Hamilton was batting .273 with two home
runs when he suffered the leg injury.

The St. Louis Cardinals placed right-hander Matt Belisle on the
15-day disabled list retroactive to June 26 with right elbow

Memphis. The 35-year-old Belisle has posted a 1-1 record with a 3.00
ERA in 30 games this season.

Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman (right wrist contusion)
is eligible to come off the 15-day disabled list Friday, but does
not appear to be ready.
"I think it's going to be a little longer. Not sure how much
longer," manager Fredi Gonzalez said.

Boston Red Sox left fielder Hanley Ramirez (bruised left hand)
missed his sixth straight game but could return to the lineup on
Wednesday.

series finale against the Minnesota Twins.

the disabled list and sent rookie left-hander Justin Nicolino to
Triple-A New Orleans. Morris was 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA in four rehab
outings.
