Mount Pulaski to be featured in “Our Town” Coverage July 6 through 9
Community celebration to be held July 10

[July 02, 2015]  MOUNT PULASKI - Mount Pulaski has been selected by WCIA Channel 3 to be the focus of their “Our Town” coverage. Channel 3 will be recording stories that will show Mount Pulaski’s uniqueness and air the segments the week of July 6-9. The prerecorded segments will air on the morning show, the 4 p.m., the 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. shows.

The Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation along with the Mount Pulaski City Council invites you to the Mount Pulaski square for their Our Town Celebration on Friday, July 10th, 2015 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Our Town Celebration will be a family fun filled evening. Get your picture taken with Abraham Lincoln, or have cake and ice cream in honor of the Courthouse turning 167 years old.

Watch the Courthouse volunteers from years past get honored. Enjoy delicious food from Hill Top Catering, the Boy Scouts Troop 122, or the Volleyball girls. Grab mini donuts from the Latham United Methodist Church tent for dessert.

The Girl Scouts do not want you to miss this year’s lineup for the dunk tank!!

There will also be games and prizes for the children, a bounce house, volleyball target serving, Twinkles the Clown, Princess Chauntea, a DJ, live music, plus much more.
