Republican Rubio raises $12 million for 2016 White House bid

[July 13, 2015]  WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Senator Marco Rubio of Florida raised $12 million as of the end of June for his Republican bid for the presidency in 2016, his campaign said on Monday.

Rubio joined the race for the Republican nomination in April and has positioned himself as a forward-looking leader and a standard bearer for a new generation of his party's leadership.
