Leafs, Predators swap forwards Beck, Devane
The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired forward Taylor Beck from the
Nashville Predators in exchange for forward Jamie Devane on
Sunday.
Beck, a third rounder in 2009, scored eight goals while adding
eight assists in 62 games with Nashville last season. The
24-year-old also played in five playoff games, registering two
penalty minutes.
Devane, also, spent the majority of his three-season
professional career at the American Hockey League level, posting
scoring six goals while adding nine assists and 253 penalty
minutes in 118 games with the Toronto Marlies. He was a
fourth-round pick in 2009.
