Annual Meeting to be held on Sunday,
September 15 at 5 p.m. in their main
facility in Atlanta, Illinois.
Refreshments and fellowship will

Church of Christ in Lincoln is sponsoring a
Christian Carnival on Sunday from 2:30 to
4:30 p.m. The activities will be on the
church's parking lot, at the corner of
Eighth and Maple streets.
 The
public is invited. All ages are welcome to
join in the games, snacks, songs, stories
and more fun -- and win prizes, too -- all
for free.

The carnival is sponsored by the St. John
Christian Education Ministry.

Elkhart Christian Church
113 Gillett Street in Elkhart
will be hosting a VBS Kick-off on
Saturday,
July 18th at Elkhart Community Park
from 5pm to 8pm.
There will be free food, games, a dunk
tank, a bounce house, face painting, a
pie eating contest at 7pm, and Dr. Seuss
movie, "Horton Hears a Who' that starts
at 8pm.
Please bring lawn chairs or blankets for
the movie.
Concessions provided.
VBS begins July 27-31 for ages 4
through High School. Bring a friend.

Before long it will again be time to
think of those things needed to start
another school year. A great place to
look for those needed items at bargain
prices is the annual Rummage and Goodie
Sale at the Atlanta United Methodist
Church. The church is handicapped
accessible. Many items will be priced at
50 cents each, and on Saturday, there
will be "bag" specials. A home made
goodie sale will be held at the same
time. Proceeds from the sales will be
used by the Atlanta United Methodist
Women for missions, both local and
other.
