The Atlanta Braves signed reliever Jason Frasor after the
veteran right-hander was released by the Kansas City Royals
earlier this week, according to FOXSports.com.
Frasor had a 1.54 ERA in 23 innings for the Royals, but he also
walked 15 for a Kansas City bullpen loaded with talented arms.
The 37-year-old joins a Braves team that was looking for veteran
bullpen help following the season-ending Achilles injury
suffered by closer Jason Grilli.

Pitcher Michael Kopech, a first-round draft pick of the Boston
Red Sox in 2014, has been suspended 50 games for using a banned
stimulant.
The right-hander tested positive for Oxilofrine, Major League
Baseball announced Thursday.
Kopech, 19, is 4-5 with a 2.63 ERA in 15 starts at Class A
