Pitcher Michael Kopech, a first-round draft pick of the
Boston Red Sox in 2014, has been suspended 50 games for using a
banned stimulant.
The right-hander tested positive for Oxilofrine, Major League
Baseball announced Thursday.
Kopech, 19, is 4-5 with a 2.63 ERA in 15 starts at Class A
Greenville.
