Funeral Director

Marcia was retired from the Dixie Truckers Home where she had worked as the Control Center Manager. She was a member of the McLean United Methodist Church.

She was a lover of God's creations and you would often find her tending her garden. She found great joy in her friends and family. She and Ted had a unique love, and her heart could only last four months to the day without him.

With four young children in tow, she still managed to volunteer as leader of 4-H, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, PTA and as a room mother for all. She sacrificed her ears but rejoiced in her heart, as all her children played many musical instruments and mastered a few.

The value Marcia placed on education and use of your God given talents was demonstrated to her entire family.

Marcia's selfless life can be summed up in two words: She Loved.
Memorials may be made to McLean United Methodist Church or Hopedale Medical Complex Nursing Home.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.
