Obituary
M. Lester Williams, “Les”, 86, of Raleigh, NC died
Saturday, May 30, after an extended illness.
Les will be remembered by all who knew him as a
caring, kind and gentle man who was always thinking
of others. He was known for his witty sense of humor
and his deep faith in his loving Savior, the Lord
Jesus Christ.
Les served four years in the US Air Force, stationed
in Great Britain during the Korean War era.
Les is survived by his son Barry Williams and his
wife, Kit Williams, of New York City, NY; his
daughter, Dana Jordan, of Cary, NC; his grandson,
William Jordan, and his wife, Brooke, as well as, a
great-granddaughter, Emerson Jordan of Cary, NC. He
is also survived by a sister, Betty Lohrenz, of
Lincoln.

Les was born on February 16, 1929 in Evanston, the son of the
late Josephine and Marion Williams. He was preceded in death by
his wife, Marian Williams; his sister Karleen Schreiber of
Gilbert, AZ; sister Sharon Italiano of NJ; brother Roger
Williams of Lincoln, and stepfather Henry Schreiber of Lincoln,.
Graveside services for Mr. Williams will be held on Saturday,
June 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln with
Military rites accorded by American Legion Post # 263 of
Lincoln.
No Visitation is scheduled.

Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Peasley Funeral
Home in Lincoln.
