Central Illinois Saddle-Up for St. Jude to be June 12 and 13

[June 06, 2015]  LINCOLN - The 15th annual Central Illinois Saddle-Up for St. Jude benefit is Friday & Saturday, June 12 & 13, at Jim Edgar Panther Creek Horse Park outside Chandlerville.

This event raised $53,500 last year for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It is one of the largest equine fundraisers for St. Jude in the country.

Food will be served 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, and a band will play starting at 7:00 p.m.

Events on Saturday, June 13, include food service beginning at 11:00 a.m. and entertainment throughout the day. Clinician Liz Carter will be in the round pen from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A live auction featuring a variety of merchandise will start at 3:00 p.m. and a band will play from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

There will be a number of drawings for cash and half a processed beef. Auction and raffle held rain or shine!
