Services for Kathryn will be held at 10:30 a.m.
on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at the United Methodist
Church in Mount Pulaski with Rev. Rachel Stockle
officiating. A visitation will be held from 4-7:00
p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. Burial will follow
the service at Mount Pulaski Cemetery. Memorials may
be made to the United Methodist Church or to the
American Heart Association.

Obituary
Kathryn L. Volle, 74, of Mount Pulaski, passed away
at 5:50 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2015, at Vonderlieth
Living Center.
Kathryn was born on June 11, 1940, in Pickneyville,
daughter of D.J. and Grace Rednour Montgomery. She
was united in marriage to Paul H. Volle on November
22, 1958, in Mount Pulaski. He preceded her in death
on September 29, 2007. She is survived by her son:
Richard Adam (LeeAnn) Volle of Mount Pulaski;
daughters: Janet Lynn Broderick of Mount Pulaski;
Debra Ann Volle of Decatur; and Jean Elizabeth
(Kevin) Garner of Springfield; grandchildren: Jared
(Bailey) Broderick, Justin (Megan) Broderick, and
Jordan Broderick; Adam Volle, Sarah Volle, Rachel
Volle, Ellen (Chris) Smith, Lorah (Tucker) Hoe,
Ronald Volle and John Volle, and Allorah Garner;
great grandchildren: Cooper, Oliver, Charlotte
Broderick, and Sawyer Smith and Scarlet Thompson;
her brother: Sam Montgomery of Lincoln; and nieces
and nephews: Daren, Andrea, John and Brande
Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her
parents, husband, and her brother: Donald
Montgomery. |
Kathryn was a homemaker. She was a member of the
United Methodist Church in Mount Pulaski. In her
earlier years, she was a receptionist at the Dentist
office and then for the medical group in Lincoln.
She was a member of the Board of Directors of the
Farmers Bank in Mount Pulaski, the Red Hat Society,
and she was the Activity Assistant at Vonderlieth
Living Center in Mount Pulaski, retiring in 1995.
