Left-hander CC Sabathia pitched six innings before being ejected for
arguing balls and strikes as the New York Yankees stretched their
season-high winning streak to six games.
Sabathia (3-7), who allowed two runs and five hits, boiled over
after getting Kole Calhoun on an inning-ending double play.
He disagreed with plate umpire Dan Bellino's call on the previous
pitch and walked off the mound gesturing toward Bellino, prompting
the ejection.
Chris Young, Brett Gardner and Jose Pireia homered for the Yankees
(32-25) while the Angels (28-29) got homers from Mike Trout and
Albert Pujols.

Jay Bruce homered twice and Johnny Cueto pitched seven innings,
lifting the Cincinnati Reds (24-31) to a 4-0 victory over the San
Diego Padres in the finale of a three-game series.

Tampa Bay starter Chris Archer pitched seven solid innings while
team mate Mikie Mahtook homered to lead the Rays to a 3-1 win over
the Seattle Mariners.
Archer (7-4) became the first Major League player to have 10 or more

Third baseman Kris Bryant had three hits and scored twice, and
shortstop Starlin Castro and left fielder Chris Coghlan each had two
hits and drove in two runs to highlight a 14-hit attack, as the
