Lincoln Service and Texas Eagle
Service Changes between St. Louis and Chicago
Effective June 17 - June 22, 2015
As work continues to bring 110 mph speeds to the Lincoln Service,
track and signal upgrades being performed by Union Pacific Railroad
will affect the Lincoln Service and Texas Eagle.
Lincoln Service: Wednesday, June 17 through Saturday, June 20
The trains listed below will not operate between Bloomington-Normal
and St. Louis on the dates indicated.
Bus service will be provided at affected stations for all trains
except Train 300.
Note: Buses will not operate according to the same schedule as
the respective trains. Contact Amtrak for bus schedules.
- June 17: Trains 305 and 307
- June 18 and 19: Trains 300, 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 306 and
307
- June 20: Trains 300, 301, 302, 303, 304, and 306
Lincoln Service: Sunday, June 21 and Monday, June 22
Trains 300, 301, 302 and 303 will be cancelled on June 21 and
22.
Bus service will be provided at all stations for Trains 301,
302 and 303 only.
Note: Buses will not operate according to the same schedule
as the respective trains. Contact Amtrak for bus schedules.
Texas Eagle: Thursday, June 18 through Monday, June 22
Train 21/421 will detour between Chicago and St. Louis, and will
not stop at any intermediate stations.
Alternate transportation will not be provided. At St.
Louis, the train will resume its normal schedule to Los Angeles.
Train 22/422 will operate as scheduled to St. Louis.

On June 18 through June 22, the train will detour between St. Louis
and Chicago, and will not stop at any intermediate stations.
Passengers on Train 22/422 destined for Chicago will remain on
the train.
Passengers on Train 22/422 traveling to stations between St.
Louis and Chicago will get off the train in St. Louis and board a
bus to their destination.
Note: The bus will only stop to discharge passengers. Trains
321 and 322 will be cancelled from June 18 through June 22.
Passengers may make reservations on Lincoln Service bus/train
services referenced above.
