Vegas, Nv., formerly of Lincoln passed away on January 12, 2015 at
the Chateau for Seniors in Las Vegas. |

Saturday, June 13, at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery
in Lincoln.

Obituary
Mary Ryan Bowker, 89, of Las Vegas, Nv., formerly of
Lincoln passed away on January 12, 2015 at the
Chateau for Seniors in Las Vegas.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, June
13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in
Lincoln.
Mary Ryan was born on July 9, 1925 in Lincoln the
daughter of Harry J. and Esther Lewis Ryan. She was
united in marriage to Leroy Bowker on May 5, 1947.
He preceded her in death on July 6, 1963.

She is survived by one daughter: Kathy Simone of Las
Vegas, Nv., one son: Ryan (Francesca) Bowker of New
York, New York. One sister: Marjory (Duane) Smalley
of Lincoln. Eight grandchildren, twenty great
grandchildren. Also surviving are two nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, one son:
Thomas (Tom) Bowker, one sister: Patricia Ryan
Wiemken.
She was a member of St. Joseph, husband of Mary
Catholic Church in Las Vegas.
Mary was very religious and active in church all of
her life. She greatly enjoyed time spent with her
family.
She will be greatly missed by her family and
friends.
Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family with
arrangements.
