Obituary

Dawn Elizabeth Gross, 52, of Lincoln, passed away Sunday. May 31, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 18, at 5:30 p.m..at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lincoln with Pastor Steve Blaum officiating. Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.

Dawn was born August 29, 1962 in Lincoln, the daughter of Bob and Diane (Jukes) Sisk. She was a member of the Oasis Senior Center, was an avid bingo player, enjoyed playing Farmville on Facebook, and collected butterflies.

 

Surviving are her mother Diane Sisk of Lincoln; her daughters Amanda (Joe) Roemer of Mount Pulaski and Amber Jones of Lincoln; her brothers Wayne Cox of Lincoln and Shannon Sisk of Petersburg; and her grandchildren: Kaleb, Kylen, Joseph, Jaylee, Trinaty, and Keaton.

She was preceded in death by her father.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
