[June 19, 2015]  LINCOLN - Dean A. Romer, 68, of Lincoln, formerly of Mount Pulaski, passed away at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Monday, June 15, 2015.

Visitation:  From 2 p.m.  to 4 p.m. Sunday June 21, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski

Service: Private services will be held at a later date

Obituary

Dean A. Romer, 68, of Lincoln, formerly of Mount Pulaski, passed away at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Monday, June 15, 2015.

Dean was born in Chicago, on February 22, 1947 to Clarence and Helen Gulick Romer. Dean worked as a painter and handyman. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.

Surviving are his three children; Diane (Kevin) Sizemore of Mount Pulaski, Cynthia (Scott) Harrelson of Weldon, and Michael Romer of Mount Pulaski, five grandchildren; Cory, Brandon, Garret, Jennifer and Alex and one great grandson Gabriel.

Visitation for Dean will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday June 21, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.

The family would like to thank everybody who helped Dean along his journey and during his time of need.
