American Legion Lincoln Post 263 Baseball Team split doubleheader

[June 23, 2015]  The American Legion Lincoln Post 263 baseball team split a doubleheader on Saturday at the Pete Andrews Complex. The team lost to Shelby County 4-0 in the first game but came back to defeat Rantoul Post 287 4-0 in the second game.

The team members this year consist of players from Lincoln, Olympia, Hartsburg-Emden, Delavan, Illini Central, Tremont and Springfield Lanphier. The coach is Jason O'Brien of Hartsburg. Coach O'Brien played baseball at Rend Lake and Quincy University. Fans can also follow the team on the American Legion Baseball - Lincoln Post 263 Facebook page.
