According to the Los Angeles Times, the league on Thursday began
issuing proposal requests to multiple venues in Southern California
-- among them the Los Angeles Coliseum and Rose Bowl -- with the
intent of securing a temporary home in the event of a return to the
market.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston, attending a youth
clinic at the Cleveland Browns' facility, plans to be himself and
wouldn't compare his off-field issues with what happened during
Johnny Manziel's disastrous rookie season.
Winston, the 2015 NFL Draft's first overall pick, said Friday that
he plans to remain active on social media in his NFL career.

Defensive end Michael Sam is back in Montreal with the Alouettes of
the Canadian Football League, two weeks after he left training camp
for unexplained personal reasons.
The Montreal Gazette reported Friday that Sam, who was the first
openly gay player drafted by an NFL team when he was selected in the
seventh round by the St. Louis Rams last year, was in Montreal on
Wednesday and plans to be at team meetings this weekend before
practicing Monday.

Pro Football Hall of Fame defensive tackle Warren Sapp is facing
three counts of domestic violence in Las Vegas after an April
incident involving his girlfriend.
Sapp is accused of biting his girlfriend and stomping on her head
while the two were at the M Resort on April 28, according to a
