Glencross has nine goals and 19 assists in 53 games this season.
His best season was 2011-2012, when he had 26 goals and 22 assists
for the Flames.
Glencross, 32, is in the last of year of his current contract. It
carries a $2.55 million cap hit. No salary will be retained in the
deal, according to ESPN.com.

The Capitals also reassigned defenseman Cameron Schilling and
forward Aaron Volpatti to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey
League.

The Flames placed captain and defenseman Mark Giordano on injured
reserve and claimed defenseman David Schlemko off waivers from the
Dallas Stars.
Giordano sustained an upper-body injury Wednesday in the Flames' 3-1
win against the New Jersey Devils.

The New York Rangers acquired defenseman Keith Yandle from the
Arizona Coyotes for a collection of picks and prospects.
The Coyotes, who are reportedly picking up of half of Yandle's $5.25
salary for the rest of this season and next, get 19-year-old left
wing prospect Anthony Duclair, 24-year-old defenseman John Moore and
a first-round draft pick in 2016 and a second-round pick in 2015,
according to Darren Dreger of TSN.
The Rangers also get 27-year-old defenseman Chris Summers, who has
split time between the Coyotes and their AHL affiliate in Portland,
Oregon this season, and a 2015 fourth-round pick.
The 28-year-old Yandle has four goals and 37 assists while playing
just under 24 minutes a game.

The Anaheim Ducks reassigned forward Chris Wagner to the Norfolk
Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Wagner, 23, appeared in his third career NHL game on Friday night
against the Los Angeles Kings, going scoreless while winning eight
of 13 faceoff attempts.

The Toronto Maple Leafs claimed defenseman Tim Erixon off waivers
from the Chicago Blackhawks.
Erixon, 24, has played for both the Blackhawks and Columbus Blue
Jackets this season.

The Winnipeg Jets activated forward Blake Wheeler from injured
reserve.
Wheeler, the Jets' third-leading scorer, missed the last two games
with a knee injury. He has 44 points (16 goals, 28 assists) in 61
games.

The Arizona Coyotes assigned forward Henrik Samuelsson and
defenseman Dylan Reese to the Portland Pirates of the American
Hockey League.
Samuelsson, 21, has appeared in two games with the Coyotes this
