WLB, Greenview, and LJHS take top scores in WLB Round Robin day one

[March 03, 2015]   The West Lincoln-Broadwell sixth grade boys round robin tournament began on Monday night.  Three games were played;  WLB versus Chester-East Lincoln, Greenview versus the Carroll Catholic/New Holland-Middletown/Zion Lutheran Crusaders, and Lincoln Junior High School versus Delavan.

In game 1, the host Wolverines defeated the CEL Panthers 37-17.

Patrick McCraith and Lucas Konczyk paced WLB with 13 points each. Also scoring for West Lincoln was, Daulton Miller (4), Brody Whiteman (2), Keyton Schmalshof (2), Sam Gleason (2) and Andre McAdams (1).

Elijah Pollice led the Panthers with seven points, also scoring was, Tanner Stramp (3), Ian Golden (2), Jaden Klopp (2), Shawn Raffa (2), and Kenneth Shew (1).

In game 2, Greenview defeated the Carroll Crusaders by a final of 43-34.
 

Alex Jansen led the Bulldogs with 16 points while Brady Westerffeld added 14. Also scoring for the victors was, Trevor Booth (5), Tommy Westerveld (4), and Dustyn Nance (4).

For the Crusaders Dylan Singelton led all scorers with 17 in the loss while Trent Koehler netted 11. Andrew Graue (4) and Everett Maaks (2) also scored for CCS/NH-M/ZLS.

In the day one finale, LJHS defeated Delavan 54-14.

Keegan Ferguson led all scorers with 22 points while Steven Gleason added 10. Landon Hullinger (6), Logan McDonald (5), Adam Grunder (4), Seth Tungate (4), and Carson Bonapart (2) also scored for the Trojans.

Drake Dowell led the Panthers in scoring with five, and Gavin Kipfer added four. Also scoring from Delavan was, Sam DeJesus (2), Austin Littlefield (2), and Bryson Peterson (1).

Day 2 (Tuesday) match-ups include:
5:00 p.m. LJHS vs. Chester-East Lincoln
6:15 p.m. Delavan vs. Carroll/ New Holland-Middletown/ Zion
7:30 p.m. WLB vs. Greenview
