[March 04, 2015]  ATLANTA -- It took a while, but the Atlanta Hawks finally made the Houston Rockets pay for the absence of guard James Harden.

Guard Jeff Teague scored eight of his 25 points in the fourth quarter, and the Hawks rallied from a 15-point deficit early in the period for a 104-96 victory Tuesday night. Atlanta center Al Horford finished with 18 points, and forward Paul Millsap added 16 points and 14 rebounds.

Harden, the NBA's leading scorer, was suspended for the game by the NBA for kicking Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James during a scuffle in Sunday's overtime victory at Houston.

Atlanta guard Jason Terry and forward Terrence Jones went scoreless in the fourth quarter after scoring 21 and 18 points, respectively, to that point. The victory was the fifth straight for the Hawks. The Rockets saw their five-game winning streak end.

Nuggets 106, Bucks 95

DENVER -- Forward Danilo Gallinari scored a season-high 26 points, guard Ty Lawson had 16 points and 10 assists, and Denver beat Milwaukee hours after coach Brian Shaw was fired.

Forward Kenneth Faried had 14 points and 14 rebounds for Denver, which ended a six-game losing streak. The Nuggets responded to Shaw's firing with their first home win since beating Dallas on Jan. 14. Denver had lost 10 consecutive home games and 19 of 21 overall before Shaw was dismissed.

Forward Giannis Antetokounmpo had 19 points and 11 rebounds and guard Khris Middleton had 20 points for the Bucks, who lost for the fifth time in six games.

Cavaliers 110, Celtics 79

CLEVELAND -- Guard Kyrie Irving returned from a shoulder injury to score 18 points, forward LeBron James scored 27 points, and Cleveland hammered Boston. James moved past guard Ray Allen and into 21st place on the NBA's all-time scoring list, while Irving looked sharp after missing the previous two games.

The Celtics began the night averaging 108 points in their previous six games, but they entered the fourth quarter Tuesday with 53 points and shooting 33 percent before they made a run when the Cavs cleared the bench.

The Cavaliers lost their previous two games, but they buried the Celtics with a 29-16 first quarter and kept piling on the rest of the night, carrying a 42-point lead into the fourth. Boston forward Brandon Bass had 15 points and five rebounds, and guard Isaiah Thomas scored 11 points off the bench.

Hornets 104, Lakers 103

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Center Al Jefferson had 21 points and 16 rebounds, and guard Mo Williams and forward Cody Zeller also had double-doubles as Charlotte beat Los Angeles.

Williams finished with 20 points and 13 assists, and Zeller had 10 points and 11 rebounds as the Hornets won their second straight. The Hornets led by as many as 11 in the second half, but the Lakers eventually cut the final margin to one on guard Jeremy Lin's 3-pointer at the final buzzer.

Lin came off the bench to lead Los Angeles with 23 points. Guard Jordan Clarkson scored 19, forward Carlos Boozer had 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Kings 124, Knicks 86

NEW YORK -- Forward Rudy Gay scored 25 points and center DeMarcus Cousins added 22 as Sacramento opened a season-high eight-game road trip with a wire-to-wire rout of New York.

Guard Ben McLemore added 20 points and reserve forward Derrick Williams contributed 17 for Sacramento, which improved to 3-3 under new coach George Karl. Guard Nik Stauskas and forward Omri Casspi chipped in 15 apiece for the Kings, who led by double digits over the final 37:39.

The Kings had 35 points after the first quarter, 65 at halftime and 100 through three quarters in a game that was originally postponed by a snowstorm in New York on Jan. 26. Guard Alexey Shved led New York with 15 points.

Bulls 97, Wizards 92

CHICAGO -- Playing without three regulars, including starting guards Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler, Chicago hung on late to beat Washington. The Wizards cut a nine-point deficit to 94-91 on a runner by forward Otto Porter with 1:49 left in the fourth quarter, but the Bulls sealed the win at the free-throw line in the final minute.

Led by rookie reserve forward Nikola Mirotic, center Pau Gasol, guard Aaron Brooks and forward Joakim Noah, the Bulls extended the Wizards' road losing streak to eight games. They also stopped a losing streak to Washington in Chicago that spanned five games including the playoff series between them last season.

Mirotic led all scorers with 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds, and Brooks scored 22 points and had eight assists. Gasol had 20 points and 10 rebounds for his NBA-leading 39th double-double, while Noah scored 14 points, pulled down 12 rebounds and helped Chicago hold Wizards power forward Nene scoreless. Guard John Wall paced Washington with 21 points and 11 assists.

Jazz 93, Grizzlies 82

MEMPHIS, Tennessee -- Memphis didn't have its top defender and one of its key scorers, and Utah made the Grizzlies pay for it on both ends of the floor.

Forwards Gordon Hayward and Derrick Favors scored 21 points apiece, and forward Rudy Gobert had 15 points and Jazz franchise-record 24 rebounds.

Memphis, which lost for the third time in its last four games, was without starting forward Zach Randolph (illness) and a pair of reserves in guards Beno Udrih (illness) and Tony Allen. Allen, the Grizzlies' top defender, was serving a one-game suspension for a undisclosed violation of team rules that head coach Dave Joerger declined to elaborate on. Guard Courtney Lee led Memphis with 18 points.
