Obituary
Kenneth “Ken” L. Chapman, 69, of Mt. Pulaski passed
away at 1:06 p.m. on March 1, 2015 at Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Ken was born on October 15, 1945 in Wayne County,
son of George William and Doris Elnora Emmerling
Chapman. He married Rosemary Wilhelm on February 9,
1968 and later divorced. He later married Sheila
Wilham Fults on June 30, 1984 and later divorced. He
is survived by his sons: Kenneth L. Chapman Jr. of
Mt. Pulaski; and Karl W. Chapman of Decatur;
grandchildren: Kenneth Leon Chapman III and Colin
Chapman; and his sister: Freda Gibbs of Cornland,.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his
brother: William Chapman.

Ken worked at State Farm for many years. He was a
member of the Mt. Pulaski Masonic Lodge # 87.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A visitation will
be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, March 9,
2015, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt.
Pulaski. Memorials may be made to donor’s choice.
