							Obituary 
							Lincoln- Nancy L. Ladd, 88, of Lincoln, IL. formerly 
							of Jacksonville, passed away on Friday, February 27, 
							2015 at St. Clara's Manor in Lincoln. 
							 
							A Memorial Service for Mrs. Ladd will be held on 
							Friday, March 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the First 
							Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville with Rev. Jon 
							Bormann officiating. 
							 
							Burial will be at a later date at Camp Butler 
							National Cemetery at rural Riverton, Illinois. 
							 
							Nancy Lewis Ladd was born on March 25, 1926 in 
							Milwaukee, Wisconsin the daughter of Thomas M. N. 
							and Leona Anderson Lewis. She was united in marriage 
							to Frank B. Ladd on December 15,1956. He survives. 
							 
							Also surviving are her sons: Geoffrey N. Ladd of 
							Lincoln and Thomas L. Ladd of St. Petersburg, 
							Florida, Sister in law : Mary Ellen Ladd, Buffalo, 
							NY, Two cousins: Judy Coker and George Coker. 
							 
							She was preceded in death by her parents and step 
							mother: Madeline Kneberg Lewis.

							Nancy graduated from Watertown High School in 
							Watertown, WI., , Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, 
							NY., with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree, a Masters 
							Degree in Journalism from the University of 
							Wisconsin at Madison, Wisconsin. and attended The 
							Art Institute of Chicago. 
							She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of 
							Jacksonville, Jacksonville Art League. and Sangamon 
							Watercolor Society. 
							 
							In her early days Nancy was a career woman, most 
							notably as the Decorating Editor for Institutions 
							Magazine in Chicago and at MacMurray College as the 
							Public Relations Director in Jacksonville. 
							Throughout her life she was a devoted artist. 
							Memorials may be made to the Jacksonville Art League 
							or the First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville. 
							Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Peasley 
							Funeral Home in Lincoln.
