Senior Tatiana (Colclasure) Schlief of Effingham, and sophomore
Betty Elliot of Crawfordsville, IN, were both named to the
All-Region team, with junior transfer Emily Borst from Lincoln,
receiving an honorable mention.
Schlief had a banner year, leading the team in important categories
at the end of the regular season, amassing 361 points and 124
assists. She was second in steals with 49, second in rebounds with
139 and even second in blocks with 24. She also ranked #3 in nation
in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA)
Division II for assists per game (5.636).
Elliot led the Red Lions in blocks, with 38, and total rebounds,
with 174. She also had the highest field goal percentage with 49.6%.
She was second in total points, with 283, at the end of the regular
season.
Borst was outstanding support to both Elliot and Schlief with the
third most in points at 275 and second in assists with 53. Borst was
also third in steals with 36.
Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach Amanda Bowman said, “Tatiana is
well-deserving of All-Region honors. She is in the top 10 in several
statistical categories in the region which shows her all-around
contribution to the team. When we walked into gyms this year, Betty
garnered a lot of attention because of her height. Teams would
double team her which helped open up our guards more, but she still
created chances to score. Receiving honorable-mention in the region
shows that Emily is a big contributor for our team. She sees the
floor well and is a key communicator on defense.”

Noble, IN, received an honorable mention for the men’s all-region
team. Fisher hit 99 shots from outside the arc in the regular season
on his way to a 396 point total to lead his teammates in scoring.
Men’s Basketball Head Coach Mac Ingmire reflected, "Michael has had
a great freshman year for us. He wholeheartedly deserves this honor
given by the NCCAA and our coaching staff looks forward to having
Michael in our program for another three years."
