Defensive lineman Cory Redding signed a two-year deal with the
Arizona Cardinals reportedly worth $6 million. The Cardinals
also announced the signing of offensive lineman A.Q. Shipley to
a two-year deal.
Redding will receive a $2 million signing bonus and salaries of
$1 million in 2015 and $3 million in 2016, a source told the
Baltimore Sun.
Redding, 34, has played 12 years with the Detroit Lions
(2003-08), Seattle Seahawks (2009), Baltimore Ravens (2010-11)
and Indianapolis Colts (2012-14).
He has 10 sacks over the past three years with the Colts.
The Cardinals have added two defensive linemen this week,
including Corey Peters for $10.5 million over three years, as
they seek to replace Darnell Dockett and Dan Williams.
Shipley, 28, played in 15 games with five starts for the
Indianapolis Colts last season. A veteran who has played guard
and center, Shipley has played in 45 career NFL games.
