San Jose United Methodist Women Fish Fry

The San Jose United Methodist Women
and the men of the church are presenting their annual Fish Fry for Missions
on Friday, March 21. Serving is from 4:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. in the
Fellowship Hall. Tickets will be sold in advance by members of the church or
at the door. You may dine in or carry out for the same price. |
Whole catfish are fried on the premises during
the Fish Fry. Other items on the menu are: Hashbrown casserole,
Coleslaw, Baked Beans, Home-made Desserts, and Drinks. Chicken
strips are also on the menu for children or adults who do not eat
fish. Proceeds benefit children and youth ministries such as;
Vacation Bible School, camping scholarships, and Bible Zone after
school ministry and meal.
The San Jose United Methodist Church is located at 601 S. 1st Street
(six blocks south of US136 at the corner of Linden and 1st). San
Jose is about 15 miles directly south of Pekin on Towerline Road; or
State Rte. 29 to U.S 136, then go east two miles to San Jose; or
about 10 miles west of I-155 on US136. For tickets or more
