Lincoln controlled the action most of the way during the first two
sets. In set one, the Lynx were sparked by the serving of freshman
DS Josue Ramirez who served 6 straight points to put LC up for good
on their way to a 25-15 win. In set two, freshman outside hitter
Adam Krzos rattled off 6 service points of his own to start the set
and Lincoln never trailed on their way to a 25-19 victory. In set
three, MO Bap came alive and Lincoln did not respond in time to
avoid a severe 10-25 beat down. The Lynx were able to shake off the
setback in set four, and cruised to a 25-13 win behind four blocks
from freshman middle hitter Wes Higgenbotham. LC improved to 17-10
on the year.

LC Coach Mark Tippett: Aside from the complete meltdown we
experienced in set three, we played an excellent match this evening.
Our blockers controlled the net and made life very difficult for MO
Bap's hitters. We served the ball well too and defensively were
sharp most of the night. We have been communicating better as the
season has gone on and playing with more energy. It was great to get
our first win at home and show how much our team has improved since
the start of the season.
LC is back at home again on Wednesday evening as they host the ISU
club team for a 7:00 PM match.
