Obituary
David E. Hanger, 80, of Lincoln passed away on
Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at his home.
No Services are scheduled.
Cremation Rites have been accorded.
David Edward Hanger was born on February 6, 1935 in
Lincoln the son of David Nathan and Dorothy Mae
Braucher Hanger. He married Susan Louise Loeche on
December 31, 1959 in Lincoln. She survives.
Also surviving are his three sons: Troy (Stacy)
Hanger of Lincoln, Mark (Rosemary) Hanger of Staten
Island, New York, and Jeff Hanger of New York, New
York; one sister: Myra Belle (Richard) Rose of
Florida; three grandchildren: Beau Hanger of
Decatur, Luke (Katie) Hanger and Maggie Hanger; and
one great-grandson: Harrison Hanger. |
He was preceded in death by his parents.
David retired from the Illinois Departement of
Corrections, Logan Correctional Center in 2010.
Memorials may be made to Carroll Catholic School.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley
Funeral Home of Lincoln.
