Kings 4, Rangers 2
After falling behind early, the Los Angeles Kings put forth a
dominant effort in a win against the New York Rangers at Madison
Square Garden.
Rangers right winger Mats Zuccarello scored during the game's first
minute, but defenseman Robyn Regehr, left winger Marian Gaborik,
center Jeff Carter and defenseman Jake Muzzin responded with four
consecutive goals for the Kings.
Center Kevin Hayes scored with 3:44 remaining to cut the Rangers'
deficit to two goals.
Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick allowed the first shot of the game
to beat him before stopping the next 34 of 35 to earn the victory.

Predators 3, Canadiens 2 (OT)
In a matchup of arguably the NHL's top goalies this season,
Nashville's Pekka Rinne outdueled the Montreal's Carey Price at a
sold-out Bridgestone Arena.
Center Filip Forsberg and defensemen Ryan Ellis and Mattias Ekholm
scored for Nashville, while Rinne made 27 saves.
Center David Desharnais and right winger Brendan Gallagher scored
for Montreal while Price made 28 saves in the losing effort.

Blues 3, Penguins 2 (OT)
Left winger Alex Steen tipped in a shot by defenseman Zbynek
Michalek 35 seconds into overtime to lift St. Louis over Pittsburgh.
The Penguins got goals 17 seconds apart in the second period by left
winger Blake Comeau and right winger Steve Downie. Two players who
were traded by Pittsburgh to St. Louis during the season --
defenseman Robert Bortuzzo and center Marcel Goc -- scored later in
the second for a 2-2 tie.

Wild 2, Islanders 1 (SO)
Left winger Zach Parise scored the game-tying goal in the third
period and scored the only goal in the shootout, lifting Minnesota
over the New York Islanders at Nassau Coliseum.
Minnesota goalie Devan Dubnyk, who made his club-record 32nd
consecutive start, recorded 37 saves in regulation and overtime
before preventing all three Islanders skaters from scoring in the
shootout. The Wild are 24-6-2 since acquiring Dubnyk from the
Arizona Coyotes on Jan. 14.

Blue Jackets 5, Ducks 3
Left winger Scott Hartnell scored his eighth career hat-trick and
Columbus won its fourth straight game over Anaheim at Nationwide
Arena.
Hartnell had his sixth multi-goal game of the season for the Blue
Jackets, while center Ryan Johansen had a goal and an assist and
left wing Nick Foligno had a goal. Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei
Bobrovsky stopped 31 of 34 shots for his 23rd win.

Lightning 4, Panthers 3
Right winger Ryan Callahan beat Florida goalie Roberto Luongo with
2:24 left as Tampa Bay rallied from a third-period deficit for a
victory at Amalie Arena.
Right winger Nikita Kucherov, left winger Brenden Morrow and center
Tyler Johnson also scored for the Lightning.

Coyotes 5, Red Wings 4 (OT)
Center Mark Arcobello's second goal of the game, with 1:52 left in
overtime, gave Arizona a win against Detroit at Joe Louis Arena.
Arcobello got his 15th goal of the season on a breakaway as he
fended off defenseman Marek Zidlicky. He also had an assist, while
right winger David Moss had two goals and defenseman John Moore had
one for Arizona. Goaltender Mike Smith made 33 saves. (Editing By
