Boy Scout Troop 102 hosted its Spring BBQ featuring 'Authentic Southern BBQ'
on Sunday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Lincoln.

Opening at 10:30 a.m. and lasting until 2 p.m., the event is a local
favorite with the smoked BBQ prepared by the scouts and scout masters. Many
of the patrons mark their calendar long in advance and some make it their
Sunday after church dinner.

The Boy Scouts welcomed each person attending the BBQ with a gracious open door.

Ticket sales were brisk at the front desk.

BBQ, coleslaw, Charlie Lee’s beans and potato salad were heaped onto the plates. No one went hungry.

The K of C was packed for the BBQ fundraiser.

A long line was waiting for the delicious BBQ.

Scouts hustled to keep up with the diners.

The kitchen area at the Knights of Columbus was busy with Scouts and their leaders preparing the meals for hundreds of patrons.

The take-out area had a long line also, often times extending into the lobby of the K of C.

A full parking lot attests to the popularity of the event.
