							Obituary 
							 
							Jeanette M. Hill, of Lincoln, passed away Sunday, 
							March 22, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center in 
							Springfield. 
							 
							Funeral services will be held Friday, March 27, at 
							10:00 a.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader funeral home 
							in Lincoln, with a visitation being held Thursday, 
							March 26, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 
							Burial will take place in Hartsburg Union Cemetery. 
							 
							Jeanette was born May 6, 1931 in rural Hartsburg, 
							the daughter of Eddie and Rebecca (Aldag) Aper. She 
							married Dean Hill on June 10, 1951 in Lincoln. He 
							survives. 
							She is also survived by her sons: David and wife 
							Ellen Hill, of Decatur; Douglas and wife Jennie 
							Hill, of Dunedin, FL; and Dwight and wife Jan Hill, 
							of Bloomington. She is also survived by her brother 
							Don and wife Shirley Aper of Lincoln; her nine 
							grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, six 
							great-grandchildren, and three step 
							great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  | 
							
							 
                    
					  
							Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents and 
							her sister, Phyllis. 
							 
							Jeanette was a devoted wife, mother, and servant of 
							God. She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church 
							and a volunteer at the Christian Nursing Home. She 
							had worked for Sears and Roebuck and the former A 
							Shade Better, both of Decatur. Jeanette enjoyed her 
							family, her church and Bible study group, gardening, 
							canning, singing, and playing the piano. Memorial 
							donations may be made in Jeanette’s name to Lincoln 
							Christian Church, Christian Homes INC, or the 
							American Heart Association.
