McLean- Alene L. Robinson, 75, of McLean passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Signature Health Care in Ormond Beach, Florida.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Robinson will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at the McLean Cemetery with Rev. Don Doty officiating. Casual dress is requested.

No Visitation is scheduled.

Alene L. Robinson was born on April 15, 1939 in Bloomington, the daughter of Joseph and Arloine Lake Reidel. She was united in marriage to Jerome Robinson on April 7, 1959 in Colorado Springs, Co. He survives.

Also surviving are her son: Jerome "Mack" (Leslie) Robinson III of McLean, one grandson: Nathan Cale Robinson of Weldon, two step-granddaughters: Sarah Manley, and Megan (Mike) Weber.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Alene graduated from the McLean High School in 1957.

She worked on her family farm. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching basketball, Cubs baseball and Nascar. She also enjoyed watching her grandson play baseball.

Alene was a member of the McLean American Legion Auxiliary.

Memorials may be made to the McLean American Legion, Mclean Fire Department or McLean Ambulance Service.
