Obituary
Esther Marie Smith, 78, of Lincoln passed away on
Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the St. Clara’s Manor in
Lincoln.
A Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held on
Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St.
Mary’s Catholic Church in Atlanta with Rev. Thomas
Taylor officiating.
Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the
service.
Burial will be in the McLean Cemetery.
Esther Marie Smith was born on February 17, 1937 in
McLean the daughter of Vester Robert and Edith Marie
Snow Smith.
She is survived by one brother: Sam (Mary Lou
Wilkins) of McLean; one niece: Susie Smith and one
nephew: Bobby (Kelly) Smith; two great-nieces and
two great-great-nephews; and good friends: Dorothy
Murphy and Norma Anderson. |
She was preceded in death by one brother: Paul Vester Smith and
one sister: Mary Louise Smith.
Esther graduated from the McLean High School in 1955. She is a
member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Esther worked at the
Lincoln Garment Factory for 37 years and at Eaton Corporation
for 11 years.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Quiram Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
