Obituary
Ronald R. Baker, 70, of Atlanta, passed away
Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at 11:40 p.m. at his home.
Funeral services for Mr. Baker will be held on
Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the
Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Weber will
officiate.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on
Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Quiram-Peasley Funeral
Home.
Burial will be in Atlanta Cemetery.
Ronald Ray Baker was born September 11, 1944, in
Lincoln, the son of Eddie McKinley and Maude Awe
Baker. He was united in marriage to Cherie Slaney on
August 25, 1969. She survives.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Cherie; their
children: Rhonda (Dean) Peterson of Minnesota and
Crystal (Mark) Bronke of Normal; his sister: Jean
Hill of Atlanta; his brother: Winton Baker of
California, and five grandchildren: Tyler Bahan,
Jackson Bronke, Britton Peterson, Keegan Peterson,
and Rylan Peterson. |
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister: JoAnne
Renfrow, and one brother: Bill Baker.
Ronnie was a 1962 graduate of Atlanta High School. He retired
from Olympia High School District #16.
His hobbies included being a pianist and he enjoyed restoring
antique cars.
Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Assembly Church .
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral
Home of Atlanta.
