[May 07, 2015]  LINCOLN - V. Keith Baughman, 86, of Lincoln passed away at 12:20 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at his home.

Visitation: None

Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, at New Union Cemetery, Lincoln

Graveside services for Mr. Baughman will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at New Union Cemetery, Lincoln with Rev. Roger David. There will be no visitation.

V. Keith Baughman, 86, of Lincoln passed away at 12:20 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at his home.

Keith was born November 13, 1928 in Malden, MO the son of Harry and Mabel Baughman. He married Delores Lessen September 23, 1950 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lincoln. She survives in Lincoln.

Keith is also survived by one son: Keith E. (Kristy) Baughman of Lincoln; two grandchildren: Heather O’Brien and Nathan Baughman; great grandchildren: Jade Baughman; Emily, Easton, Gavin and Grady O’Brien; and Sister: June Martinie Phegley of East Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Doris Davis Forehand; Hazel Werth; Edith Johnson; Ruth Yechout and brothers: Harry Baughman; Lloyd Baughman.

 

Keith served in the U.S. Army from 1945-1947 during W. W. II. He is a retired letter carrier having worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Chicago and Lincoln. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Lincoln and the American Legion Post # 263.

Graveside services for Mr. Baughman will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at New Union Cemetery, Lincoln with Rev. Roger David. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in New Union Cemetery with full military rites accorded by Lincoln American Legion Post #263. Memorials may be given in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research or Parkinson’s Research. All services were entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
