[May 11, 2015]  May 9 (The Sports Xchange) - The New Jersey Devils re-signed forward Jordin Tootoo to a one-year, $825,000 contract Saturday.

Tootoo, 32, had 10 goals and 15 points in 68 games this season.

Boston University goalie Matt O'Connor agreed to a two-year contract with the Ottawa Senators.

O'Connor, who finished his junior year with the Terriers, was one of the most sought-after undrafted college free agents. He helped lead BU to the national championship game this season, and had a 25-4-4 record, .927 save percentage and 2.18 goals-against average.

The Senators were among four teams O'Connor was reportedly considering.

The Detroit Red Wings signed center Dominic Turgeon to a three-year entry-level contract Saturday.

Turgeon, 19, skated in 67 games for the Western Hockey League's Portland Winterhawks this season, setting career bests with 43 points (18 goals, 25 assists) in 67 games. (Editing by Gene Cherry)
