Boston University goalie Matt O'Connor agreed to a two-year
contract with the Ottawa Senators.
O'Connor, who finished his junior year with the Terriers, was
one of the most sought-after undrafted college free agents. He
helped lead BU to the national championship game this season,
and had a 25-4-4 record, .927 save percentage and 2.18
goals-against average.
The Senators were among four teams O'Connor was reportedly
considering.

The Detroit Red Wings signed center Dominic Turgeon to a
three-year entry-level contract Saturday.
Turgeon, 19, skated in 67 games for the Western Hockey League's
Portland Winterhawks this season, setting career bests with 43
