[May 13, 2015]  May 12 (The Sports Xchange) - Baseball's all-time home run leader, Barry Bonds, could soon be suing Major League Baseball for the way his career ended.

According to CBSSports.com, the controversial slugger is proceeding with a grievance that alleges baseball colluded to keep him from playing after the 2007 season when he set the career home-run record with 762 homers.

Miami Marlins closer Steve Cishek converted 39 of 43 chances last season and he owned a career 2.98 ERA in 269 innings.

But after Cishek blew back-to-back saves, the Marlins are searching for alternatives.

The Philadelphia Phillies plan to convert third baseman Cody Asche into a left fielder and are sending him to Triple-A to learn the new position.

The Texas Rangers are expected to activate first baseman Mitch Moreland off the disable list in time for Wednesday's game against the Kansas City Royals.

Moreland suffered an elbow injury and has been sidelined since April 27.

The driver of a bus carrying members of a minor league affiliate of the Atlanta Braves was charged with exceeding a safe speed after she lost control early Tuesday morning, flipping the bus on a North Carolina highway.

There were 33 players and team personnel aboard the bus, according to the police report. Seven players and the team trainer were treated and released at a local hospital. Tuesday's game in Myrtle Beach was canceled. (Editing by Frank Pingue)
