Obituary
Marcia “Jeanne” Parrish ,68 , passed away at 8:15
p.m. on May 7, 2015 at her home surrounded by her
loving family.
Jeanne was born on January 18, 1947 in Lincoln,
daughter of Lowell and Lucille Ryan Young. She
married Ivan R. Parrish on March 14, 1980 in
Lincoln. He preceded her in death on November 5,
2012.
Jeanne is survived by one daughter: Laura (James E.)
Adams of Bloomington; three grandchildren: Layne
Bridges, Jackson Adams, and Jaycee Adams; three
sisters: Marlene Thompson, Michelle Kuznik, Marilyn
Meiners; three brother: Mike, Matt, and Mark Young.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jeanne loved the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and
Loved watching college football. Most of all she
loved and cared for her family dearly, and enjoyed
spending time with her family. |
Services for Jeanne will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May
12, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Monday May 11, 2015 also at the funeral home. A
burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery will follow the
service. Memorials may be made to Community Cancer
Center, 407 East Vernon Avenue Normal, IL 61761.
