LINCOLN
- Lincolnland Technical Education Center’s (LTEC) Building Trades
Class, under the direction of Justin Dietrich, is announcing an Open
House to showcase this year’s building trades class project.

The Open House will be held on Wednesday, May 20 from 3:30 p.m.
until 6:00 p.m. The newly renovated house is located at 250
Southgate, which is located in the Mayfair Subdivision.
The Building Trades Program provides students with the skills and
knowledge necessary to enter either residential or commercial
construction fields. The program includes blueprint reading,
takeoff, framing, drywall installation, trim work, siding, roofing,
electrical, plumbing, and concrete.
“Graduates of this program are going to have marketable skills that
the construction industry needs for tomorrow’s technology,” said
LTEC Director Robert Bagby. “These students will help shape and lead
future changes in not only construction, but manufacturing.”
This years’ 2,536 square foot house (main floor and finished
basement) features new flooring and painting throughout, with a
brand new kitchen containing new appliances. The home has three
bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, and an office.
