Obituary
Mary C. Pollock, 91, of Delavan passed away at 3:10
a.m. May 18, 2015 at the Apostolic Christian Restmor
Nursing Home, Morton.
Mary was born June 5, 1923 in Lincoln, the daughter
of Christopher and Lucille Pettit Dengler. She
married Robert Pollock May 24, 1947 in Lincoln. He
preceded her in death April 28, 2014.
Mary is survived by two sons: Richard (Cindy)
Pollock of Deer Creek and Mark (Adele) Pollock of
Tremont; grandchildren: Penny, Chris, Alyssa,
Melaney, and Brett; great grandchildren: Mara, Max,
Liam, Teddy, Jaxon, and Kylie. She was preceded in
death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two
sisters.

Mary was a homemaker and worked for the war plant in
Illiopolis during WW II. She was a member of
Immanuel Lutheran Church and was very active in
church when she was able to do so. Her family was
her whole life.
Services for Mary will be at 12:00 noon Friday, May
22, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home,
Lincoln with Rev. Candida Turner officiating.
Visitation will be one hour (11:00-12:00) prior to
the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow
service in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln. Memorials may be
given in Mary’s name to Immanuel Lutheran Church of
Lincoln.
