Obituary
Jessie R. Reves, 59, of Lincoln, passed away at
11:55 a.m. May 17, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center,
Springfield.
Jessie was born June 27, 1955 in Bloomington, IL the
daughter of Robert and Frances Lopez Murphy. She
married Dennis Reves August 18, 1995. He survives in
Lincoln.
Jessie is survived by her children: Shane (Kerri
Slater) Lucas of Lincoln; Brittany Reves of Lincoln;
Corrie (Phil) Pirtle of Springfield; grandchildren:
Lyndsay Lucas, Emma Allen, Hayden Slater, Hilary
Lucas, Aubrey Lucas, Chance Pyles, Addison, Conor,
and Sophia Pirtle; great grandchild: Brantley Cox;
and siblings: Patricia and Dennis Peterson; Jim and
Connie Murphy; Toni McClain; Bobbie and Wayne Frye;
and Flo and Dale Stamm. She was preceded in death by
her father, mother, son (Shawn Lucas) and two
brothers.

Jessie worked as a cashier at Eagles for 12 years
and was currently a teller at Regions Bank. She
loved camping, fishing, being outside, spending time
with grandchildren and the grand- dog, “Cooper”.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m.
Thursday, May 21, 2015 at New Union Cemetery with
Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. Burial will be in
New Union Cemetery, Lincoln.
Jessie had requested that no visitation be held.
Memorials may be given to the family. Services have
been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home, Lincoln.
