Ronnie G. Merreighn, 67, of Lincoln, passed away May
25, 2015 at The Christian Village with his family by
his side.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no
services at this time. Holland Barry & Bennett
Funeral Home has been entrusted with his care.
Ronnie was born August 31, 1947 in Atlanta, the son
of Francis Merreighn and Clara (Smith). He married
Diana Hashman on June 25, 1965 in Clinton. He was a
farmer. He was also employed as a tow truck driver
for Charlie Clark for a few years, employed at
Harold’s Auto Body for 5 years, and was a truck
driver with Garland Gehrke for 21 years. Ronnie and
Diana used to drag race. He had a 68 Javlin and she
had a 62 Impala SS. He collected John Deere
Memorabilia and was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan.

Surviving are his father Francis Merreighn, his wife
Diana Merreighn, his children: Lisa (Bob)
Quisenberry, Michael (Chrissy) Merreighn, and Brian
Merreighn; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren;
and his siblings: Greg Merreighn, Jack Merreighn, Danny Merreighn,
Francis Merreighn Jr., and Patricia Cobb.
He was preceded in death by his mother, his sister
June Ayers, and his great-granddaughter Eyvie Grayce
Quisenberry.
