Obituary
Jess H. Wade, Sr., 68, of Lincoln passed away on
Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 5:35 a.m. at Memorial
Medical Center in Springfield.
Graveside Services for Mr. Wade will be held on
Friday, May 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Union
Cemetery in Lincoln with Rev. Michael Paulson
officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 10:00
a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home.
Jess Howard Wade, Sr., was born on January 4, 1947
in Lincoln the son of Jess Robert Wade and Betty
Jane Kane Wade Marvel. He was united in marriage to
Anna Belle Estep in 1970.
Surviving Jess are his children: Jess Howard (Kathy)
Wade, Jr. of Mount Pulaski, Stephanie (Paul) Brown
of Spokane, WA., Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Wade of
Lincoln; four grandchildren: Jessi, Dakota, Jonah,
and Cali; one brother: Thomas (Patricia) Wade of
Westerville, OH., Diane (Ron) Wade Tucker, and Linda
(Bill) Wade Melton both of Lincoln. |
He was preceded in death by one son: Jess Edward Wade; one
sister: Vicki Kaye Wade and his parents.
Jess graduated from the Lincoln Community High School in 1965.
He owned Wade Enterprise- Demolition, heavy equipment operator,
semi truck driver and Good Old Boys Bar and Restaurant in
Springfield.
Memorials may be made to the SIDS Foundation.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home.
