Falk, 26, notched a goal and an assist for two points with 14
penalty minutes in 18 games with the Blue Jackets and Minnesota Wild
this season.
He posted one goal, one assist and seven penalty minutes, while
averaging 15:13 of ice time, in five games with Columbus after being
acquired with a fifth-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft from
Minnesota in exchange for defenseman Jordan Leopold on March 2.
Falk also collected seven points (one goal, six assists) with 34
penalty minutes in 39 games with the Iowa Wild of the American
Hockey League this season.
A native of Snowflake, Manitoba, Falk has registered 19 points (two
goals, 17 assists) and 134 penalty minutes on 14:46 of average ice
time in 147 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets, Wild and New
York Rangers.
He has tallied 33 points (seven goals, 26 assists) and 206 penalty
minutes in 228 career AHL games with the Wild and Houston Aeros
since beginning his professional career in 2008-09.

The St. Louis Blues signed defenseman Jordan Schmaltz to a
three-year, entry-level contract.
Schmaltz, 21, finished his junior year at the University of North
Dakota this season.
The 6-foot-2, 189-pounder ranked third on the club with 28 points,
including a team-leading 24 assists in 42 regular-season games,
while he led North Dakota to their second consecutive Frozen Four
appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
During his collegiate career, Schmaltz accumulated 64 points (13
goals, 51 assists) in 125 regular-season games, while earning
back-to-back NCAA second-team All-Star honors in 2014 and 2015.
Schmaltz was originally drafted by the Blues in the first round
(25th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.

The Boston Bruins signed forward Anton Blidh to an entry-level
contract.
In 48 regular-season games with Frolunda HC of the Swedish Hockey
League in 2014-15, Blidh registered five goals and 26 penalty
minutes. The 20-year-old also netted a postseason goal in 13 playoff
games.
The 6-foot, 181-pound winger from Molnycke, Sweden, represented Team
Sweden in the 2015 World Junior Under-20 Championship, where he
registered one goal and two assists in seven games.
Blidh, who has attended the last two Bruins development camps, was
drafted by Boston in the sixth round of the 2013 NHL Draft.
