The question now is whether the NFL career of the 36-year-old Smith
is over. He had said before the season started that the 2015 season
would be his last.
Smith, who led the team with five catches for 82 yards, was injured
making a 17-yard catch-and-run.
Earlier in the game, Smith had passed Hall of Famer Cris Carter for
10th place in career receiving yards. Smith has 41 catches for 588
yards and three touchdowns this season.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has been playing with
multiple fractured ribs, according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports.
The ribs were broken at the same time Luck injured his shoulder in
Week 3, Glazer reported Sunday.
Luck has never been disclosed on the injury reports as having
injured ribs.
Colts general manager Ryan Grigson issued a statement later Sunday.
"Our injury reports are accurate," Grigson said. "If people have any
questions about player injuries, they should refer to our injury
reports."
Luck, who missed games in Weeks 4 and 5 with what was reported at
the time as a shoulder injury, has struggled since his return.

Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden and safety Donte Whitner both
left Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals in the third
quarter with apparent head injuries and were evaluated for possible
concussions.
Haden left the game after being injured on a 60-yard touchdown pass
from Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer to wide receiver Michael
Floyd.
Haden missed the previous two games with a concussion but was
cleared to practice on Wednesday. He also missed a game earlier in
the season with a finger injury.

yards and two touchdowns, while Hyde paces the 49ers with 470 yards
