Obituary
Stewart Wayne Hamblin went home to be with God on
October 27, 2015, at his residence in Kewanee. He
was born on March 30, 1954, in Lincoln, to Lyle W.
Hamblin and Edna M. Pelc. Steward graduated from
Lincoln Community High School in 1973. After high
school, he joined the United States Air Force and
served his country for two years.
Stewart is survived by the love of his life of 13
years, Paula Brockway, brother Kevin (Dianna)
Hamblin, nephew Hamblin, nieces Jamie Wellbaum and
Tonya Mounce and grandsons Taylor and Tony. Also
surviving is his beloved dog, Jasper.
Stewart was preceded in death by his mother and
father, brother Michael Ray and step-father Henry
Pelc.
Stewart was a member of the American Legion and the
40X8. Stewart was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and had a
last wish to attend a Cubs game at Wrigley Field
that was granted by Moments by Mutti. Stewart loved
spending time at the campground, fishing, and riding
his motorcycle.
Cremation rights have been accorded. A celebration
of life will be held at a later date. Memorial
donations may be given to Moments by Mutti in
Kewanee.
Stewart will be dearly missed by all. |
