Maddy Davis led the Lady Toppers offense with 10 kills and
fellow senior Lilly Pickett added 4 kills and 4 digs. Freshman
Skylar Hayes had 5 kills and 6 digs and Alexandra Beckers had 20
assists and 8 digs. Finally for Mount Pulaski freshman Abigail
Fitzpatrick contributed 8 digs and 2 aces while Emilee Burge had
9 digs and 3 aces.
Mount Pulaski will play Cissna Park on Saturday at 1 p.m. at
Effingham St. Anthony. The winner will advance to the state
tournament at Redbird Arena in Normal.
Meanwhile, Hartsburg-Emden's season came to end as Lexington
defeated the Lady Stags 23-25, 25-20 and 27-25.
Kaylee Beekman led Hartem with 16 kills and Anna Hayes had 11
kills. Emme Olson had 8 digs and Adreanna Vetter had 39 assists
and 5 blocks.
The Lady Stags ended the season with a 33-6 record.
